FIRST VISIT

At Barousse Chiropractic we value your time, so we try to get you feeling better as soon as possible.  Your first visit could take up to 45 minutes depending on your pains. However, subsequent visits can usually be complete in 20 minutes.

Here is how your first visit will go:

Brief Paperwork

Upon entering the office, we have some paperwork for you to complete. The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and your condition.

Consultation

Once the paperwork has been completed, you will have a consultation with Dr. B to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options.

History and Examination

In order to determine what your actual problem is, Dr. B  will ask you various questions related to your condition. Next, a number of specialized tests will be performed to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent.

X-ray Studies (if needed)

If your specific condition requires any x-rays to either rule out more serious conditions or assist Dr. B in developing the most effective treatment plan for you, they will have you sent somewhere to have this performed. Unfortunately, we do not take x-rays in our office.

Review of Findings

Dr. B  will go over the findings from the specific specialized test and tell you what they mean.  They will then discuss treatment options for your condition at that time.

Same Day Treatment

Once finished with the examination and review, patients will usually be provided with their first treatment during this same visit.

Home Instructions

Prior to leaving, patients will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home stretches and/or exercises.

        Stressed?

Ask the Dr's about the natural supplements he sells to help out with stress and muscle tightness.
